The Pakistani American Political Action Committee was founded in 1989 by a group of visionary Pakistani Americans. On the eve of the 1990 election in an increasingly complex world, our founders saw a need for greater political coordination, activism and advocacy.
We support candidates who are committed to federal policies that promote good governance, education and security in Pakistan and civil liberties in the United States.
What We Do
PAKPAC educates Pakistani-Americans on pressing federal policy debates. We provide a unique platform to influence these debates. We endeavor to amplify the voice of every Pakistani-American.
PAKPAC activities are fully transparent and governed by regulations set forth by the Federal Election Commission. We are the only Pakistani American organization registered with the Federal Election Commission. We are not affiliated with the Democrats or the Republicans nor any political parties or government agencies in Pakistan.
